Sue Griffin
Counsellor, Psychotherapist & Coach
I have a small private practice working from home in the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside.
I have had 20 years experience in helping people as a Tutor, Youth & Community Worker and I have worked in a variety of statutory/voluntary settings. I wrote the successful (Personal Development Based) Positive Steps Course which was delivered over 10 years to many local community groups. I also worked as a Parenting Group/Individual Tutor for a number of years.
My 4,000 hours and 35 years experience as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist includes youth work settings, bereavement group, homeless hostel, parenting groups, GP Practice, racing industry, gambling organisation, working for private health providers as well as running my own private practice.
I have worked as a volunteer in youth settings, bereavement work, parenting groups hospital, befriending and over the years been a Trustee serving several local voluntary organisations.
I am committed to offering my clients support with their issues, by helping them to think differently, consider new perspectives on past and present matters of concern. From this basis we can work together towards building confidence to explore personal goals and journey along new/different skills pathways to build emotional resilience/strength. We can in the process identify and change unhelpful patterns of behaviour and help you move forward in life.
I work in an encouraging and collaborative way to suit individual needs. I work with individuals on a wide range of issues, offering counselling, psychotherapy, coaching and mentoring to people over 18.
Bespoke coaching packages covering a variety of skills can be compiled on request.
